Street art repairs potholes

CULTURE

It can often take ages for local councils to get around to filling potholes in the road or major cracks in footpaths. Or homeowners to patch up a crevice in a wall. To help out, French street artist Ememem is repairing these gaps and holes and crevices where he comes across them with colourful tile mosaics. He calls his technique ‘flacking’. From his home city of Lyon, he’s taken his artistic talents on the road, or more to the point, to the roads of other European cities, including Paris. Here are a few samples of his handiwork.
